Who we are
Each one of us has a story,
or two or three, to tell.
Preservation & Creation.
Our loved ones have unique life experiences and memories that you need to know. Today is the day to ask the questions and listen to the stories that they have. We offer a free guide to help you get the conversation started.
Legacy is not just about preserving stories it is about creating them too. We miss opportunities because we are waiting for the perfect moment, until the kids are older, or when we have more money. We encourage you to make those memories NOW!! Don’t wait for the perfect moments, create memorable ones today.
Loving the people in your life is the most important thing. We want to help you learn to love while leaving a legacy. Follow Beth’s blog for more practical tips on loving those around you.
Meet Beth
About Beth
I have lived legacy my entire adult life. I just didn’t realize it at the time. My adult life has been shaped by the early loss of my mother, at 49, and then losing two husbands, both from sudden heart attacks at pivotal times in my life. I want to give you what I never had...the chance to connect with your loved ones.
My Mom
My mother, also my best friend, was dying of cancer when my first child, her first granddaughter, was born. Mom was able to visit with her grandchild for a month before her death. Hours before she passed, she called together her loved ones to have a “Give-a-way Day.” This day impacted me and I desire to tell my stories and tell those around me how important they are.
Tim’s Death
Then, my husband died suddenly from a heart attack at only 48 years old. One minute we were doing chores together and the next he was gone. Two of our daughters were married and out of the house but our son was still at home. In that moment, everything changed. My husband and I had never discussed what to do “in the event”. We were both still young enough to deal with those plans later. Later never came.
Ralph’s Death
I married Ralph Miller two years later after Tim's death. We enjoyed many fun times together and we were looking forward to my retirement so we could travel and do more. But five months before my retirement Ralph died of a sudden heart attack. All our dreams for retirement suddenly changed.
Financial Educator
With over 38 years experience as a financial advisor and budgeting coach I recently retired to be able to focus more on Love Legacy and making and creating more legacy moments in my own life. It was my joy to help clients get their financial affairs in order and to teach my clients how to help them leave a legacy.
Creation of Love Legacy
Out of these experiences came Love Legacy and my two books, Preparing With Purpose, dealing with the practical side of life and Preserving Your Story (Love Legacy Letter) guiding you on how to preserve your stories.
